Kay-Lee Henn was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa into a family of Gymnasts. She first started Artistic Gymnastics at the age of 4 and at the age of 10 years old she competed at the South African championship, in Cape Town, South Africa.
Although she stopped competing at the age of 12, she has always had a deep passion for the elegant sport. Additionally, she started competing in Athletics and achieved her D2 Provincial colours, for 4 years, for High jump. Furthermore, she represented her school in Netball until the end of her High school career.
She went on to study Sport Science at the University of Pretoria, where her hard-working and diligent nature earned her the prestigious Golden Key award after her first year of studies. She was also involved in the Universities Netball club where she developed her practical experience during her time at the University.
Kay-Lee`s love for sport and her passion for working with children has always been prominent in her life. She has teaching experience in Gross motor development, Netball, Athletics as well as Swimming, for children of all ages.
Kay-Lee hopes to share her passion of Gymnastics with her students and she believes that physical movement is a fundamental learning component, which should be fun at the same time.
