Melanie was born and grew up in the U.K. Daughter of a ballet teacher. She started ballet classes at the age of 3.
After winning many scholarships and competitions at the age of 13, she joined the prestigious Royal Ballet School in London. Graduating at 18, Melanie was offered a contract to join the State ballet in Munich, bringing her to Germany.
After many years dancing with the company, she moved on to dance in the Semperoper in Dresden. She performed many solo roles in the big classics Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Taming of the Shrew, Midsummers Night Dream and worked with many famous choreographers.
After completing her German studies at the age of 28, Melanie stopped dancing and began a new career, studying at the university in Munich to become a physiotherapist.
During her studies, she taught adults and children in different dance schools in Munich, also choreographing performances.
Melanie is currently working in a rehabilitation center specializing in dancing, sport, and orthopedics.
