Ellie Imanishi was born and raised in Germany to a Korean mother and a Japanese father. Growing up in a multicultural household, she was surrounded by music and movement from an early age and began dancing as a child, strongly influenced by her mother and Korean culture.
She developed a love for K-Pop dance at a young age and continued to train consistently, building strong technical skills, musicality, and stage presence over the years. Her dedication and passion for performance led her to compete and perform on various stages, where she quickly made a name for herself within the K-Pop dance community.
Ellie has earned multiple awards, including first place at the K-Pop World Festival Germany 2019 as a solo performer and first place at the All or Nothing Contest 2024 as a duo. She also placed second at the MyStage Contest Mainz 2023 in both duo and group categories, is the leader of the k pop dance team Victory, and performed as a back up dancer for RIIZE at KCON Germany 2024.
Ellie has been teaching at Link n Learn as a K-Pop dance instructor since 2021, taking over from her mother, who is also an incredible dancer. Ellie loves seeing the growth of our Link n Learn children and supporting them as they gain confidence, improve their skills, and express themselves through dance.
