Daniel Lopez-Bonaglia is originally from Quito, Ecuador, but embarked on a journey to the United States at the age of 7. Growing up in New Hampshire, he answered the call to duty after high school and joined the United States Army. Daniel dedicated 22 years of his life to the military, achieving the rank of Combat Medic Specialist and earning Airborne qualification. He proudly served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, cherishing the adventures, the opportunity to travel, and the honor of serving during a legendary era.
Post-retirement, Daniel found a new passion as a professional stage actor. He has taken center stage as the lead in two theatrical plays for the Wiesbaden English Language Theater. Beyond acting, Daniel shares his theatrical expertise by teaching drama and theater.
In addition to his artistic pursuits, Daniel is a dedicated volunteer, serving as a CPR/AED/First Aid and babysitting instructor for the Red Cross. Committed to supporting the military community, he volunteers with the USO, providing coffee to troops.
Adding to his list of talents, Daniel is not only a retired Army veteran and a thespian but also a versatile athlete. He has mastered various sports, including martial arts, jujitsu, basketball, soccer, ice hockey, sprinting, long distance running, cycling, tennis, ping pong, volleyball, American football, weapons shooting, fishing, canoeing, rowing, horse riding, skateboarding, rollerblading, swimming, obstacle courses, and calisthenics training.
When he’s not on stage or instructing, he hits the ice as a semi-pro hockey player for the Wiesbaden Vikings ice hockey team. His multifaceted journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication and passion for making a positive impact in various facets of life.
