We have had an incredible term at Link n Learn, now at all three of our locations – Oberursel, Frankfurt, and Frankfurt International School! It has been a wonderful journey to see the growth in classes, teachers, participants, and the growth of this little family we have.
The Phonics and Little Explorers class brought a new fun and interactive approach to basic academic skills in the subjects of English and Science. Little explorers allowed our kids to perform interesting experiments and learn about topics that tickle their fancy. English Reading and Writing has also never been more enjoyable than it has been under the careful guidance of Samantha. No matter what age or ability, the children grew in knowledge, and had a great time!
Each child that has been part of Anat’s Rainbow Cooking Class fell in love with it and the vibrant spirit she brings. They focused on health-based cooking and creative takes on some of our everyday meals – but now with a twist!
Mariam and her Musical Theatre kids are showstoppers, and have grown together to produce an incredible performance of “Jack and the Beanstalk.” We are incredibly proud of how they have come closer and better as a team. Next term they will join hands as teacher and pupils to create their own musical based on the children’s own taste in music and personal abilities.
Let’s Dance danced everything from J-Pop, Hip-hop, and K-Pop… whilst looking incredibly cute. The K-Pop mommies also learned the hottest boy and girl band songs, sweating, working hard and stimulating their brains as they learned the incredible choreography.
Britta showed how ordinary things can be used to make extraordinary things in our new Arty Crafty Class. Getting our hands dirty, but still, we could create something wonderful.
Our Baby Tunes and Mini Tunes group never fail to melt our hearts and brighten our day. It is the sweetest thing to see them take part in and enjoy the music whilst laying the foundation for basic music skills. Magical Musical also allows children as young and 3-6 years old to grow in confidence as they learn to present themselves in song, dance, and acting. From being shy to having a blast on stage, the growth seen in each child is beautiful.
As we close this term and prepare for after the summer, we are excited to introduce our umbrella theme for Term 3 – This is Me! In all our performance classes we continue to develop our skills as we cover topics like confidence, uniqueness, diversity, and what brings us all together. We cannot wait to see you there!
